Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. seeks a Production Manager to run the third shift in an automotive parts manufacturing environment. The role focuses on safety, delivery, cost, and quality, with hours 10:30 pm to 7 am.

You will lead continuous improvement per Toyota Production System, partner with Quality on scrap reduction and non-conformances, and optimize manpower and 5-S. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related major.
• Must have recent experience as a Production Manager in an automotive parts making environment.
• Must have at least three years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated experience in driving quality, cost, delivery times, and safety improvements.
• Must be committed to the use of metrics to understand production trends and weak points.
