Job summary

Pridgeon and Clay is seeking a Supervisory candidate for a third shift (8:30pm–6:30am, Mon night to Fri morning) to oversee production and quality processes. You will drive manpower planning, coach operators, and manage cost of quality, safety and delivery metrics in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and adherence to ISO/TS standards, with a focus on continuous improvement and practical problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience leading teams in an industrial environment.
• Experience with hiring, performance appraisals and disciplinary processes.
• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage projects with high attention to detail.
• Excellent attendance and confidentiality maintained.
• Ability to build effective work relationships and own measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production and communicate with operators to meet targets.
• Assist in manpower planning and adjust for fluctuations.
• Track key metrics: run time, set up, PPM, COQ, on-time delivery.
• Control supplies, overtime, scrap, and inventory accuracy.
• Oversee QRQC and Scrap Market areas with 24-hour disposition.
• Coordinate shift transitions and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Lead safety and lean initiatives and standardized work.
