Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a Retail Preprice & Chiller Supervisor to oversee production line personnel and ensure adherence to HACCP, GMP, USDA and OSHA standards. You will drive schedules, optimize throughput and mentor staff in a fast-paced poultry environment.

The role requires leadership experience, strong English communication, and a solid background in food safety and poultry processing, with flexibility for non-standard shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in manufacturing; 3 years in poultry manufacturing preferred.
• Leadership experience with timekeeping, policy adherence and conflict resolution.
• Knowledge of poultry processing and food safety regulations (OSHA, GMP, HACCP).

Responsibilities

• Supervise production line/department to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily reports on attendance, yields and staffing are completed.
• Identify opportunities for throughput, waste reduction and quality.
• Lead process improvements; monitor metrics and respond to trends.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure food safety and USDA specifications.
• Mentor and train employees; provide feedback and cross-training.
• Enforce safety policies and PPE usage; support zero-accident culture.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet location goals.
• Understand and adhere to any union contract if applicable.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
