Wayne Farms is seeking a Retail Preprice & Chiller Supervisor to oversee production line personnel and ensure adherence to HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs, USDA, OSHA, and company policies while meeting productivity targets and customer specifications.

The role involves deploying and rotating staff, maintaining accurate daily reports, leading process improvements, collaborating with Quality Assurance to maintain food safety, and coaching employees. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a manufacturing setting; three years in food manufacturing or poultry preferred.
• One year leadership experience including knowledge of timekeeping requirements, policy adherence, Top 25 behaviors, conflict resolution and issue resolution.
• Working knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMP and HACCP.

Responsabilités

• Supervise production line/department personnel to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate staff to maximize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily departmental reports, attendance and yields are accurately completed.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce repeat deficiencies.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure a safe, sanitary environment per USDA requirements.
• Coach and train employees; administer performance improvements and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Enforce safety policies and PPE usage to support a zero-accident culture.
• Coordinate with other departments and unions as applicable; adapt to contract terms when required.
