Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC seeks a Retail Preprice & Chiller Supervisor to oversee production line personnel and ensure adherence to HACCP, GMP, USDA, OSHA, and company policies. You will manage scheduling, reporting, and ergonomics to maximize productivity while meeting customer specifications.

You will mentor staff, enforce safety initiatives, and collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain a sanitary environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in a manufacturing setting; three years in food manufacturing preferred.
• 2+ years leadership experience including policy adherence and issue resolution.
• Experience with poultry processing and food safety regulations (OSHA, GMP, HACCP).
• Ability to communicate in English; multilingual ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage production line/department and adjust procedures to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily reporting of attendance, yields, and other metrics.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction.
• Lead process improvement projects and monitor metrics.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain USDA standards.
• Mentor and train employees; administer performance actions as needed.
• Enforce safety policies and PPE usage across the area.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet location goals.
