Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Retail Preprice & Chiller Supervisor to oversee the production line and department personnel, ensuring adherence to HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs, and USDA/OSHA regulations while achieving productivity and customer specifications.

The role includes supervising up to 100 employees, mentoring staff, and coordinating with Quality Assurance to maintain a sanitary, food-safe environment. Strong leadership and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year experience within a manufacturing setting.
• Three (3) years’ experience in food manufacturing or poultry industry preferred.
• Knowledge of timekeeping requirements and policy adherence helpful.
• Strong communication in English with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage production line/department by establishing procedures and adjusting as necessary to meet production schedules, increase efficiencies and meet or exceed budget objectives.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics to meet production schedules.
• Ensure daily reporting is accurately completed and recorded (e.g. departmental reports, attendance, yields).
• Identify opportunities for process optimization (throughput, waste reduction, product quality, ergonomics).
• Lead or participate in planning and implementation of process improvements and monitor metrics.
