Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Retail Preprice & Chiller Supervisor to lead production line staff, ensure adherence to HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs and regulatory guidelines, and drive productivity while meeting customer specs.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Three years’ experience in food manufacturing or poultry preferred.
• Leadership experience including timekeeping, policy adherence, Top 25 behaviors, conflict resolution.
• Three years’ experience preferred overall.
• Working knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations, OSHA, GMP, HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Manage production line/department to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily reports on attendance, yields, and production metrics.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction.
• Lead improvements and monitor metrics; address unfavorable trends.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to maintain USDA-compliant safety standards.
• Mentor and coach employees and administer performance actions as needed.
• Enforce safety policies and PPE usage; promote a zero-accident culture.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet location goals.
• Understand union contracts if applicable.
