Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Production Manager to organize and supervise the Production Department, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety standards.

You will lead the production staff, coordinate with engineering, sales and service, manage budgets, train new hires, and implement continuous improvements to reduce costs and improve quality. Exempt position, reporting to General Manager or Operations Manager, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Two years of business management experience in a production environment.
• Strong supervisory and management skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop staff.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and implement changes in work methods and/or equipment to improve labor utilization, production efficiency and department expenses.
• Lead, train, and supervise the Production staff and departments.
• Oversee all new hire training and conduct ongoing training in all departments.
• Consult with engineering, sales and service management to ensure smooth operation of the plant.
• Execute company production policies, procedures and standards.
• Set and monitor standards for production, quality, housekeeping and safety.
