Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Memphis, TN is seeking a Production Manager to organize and supervise the Production Department. The role reports to the General Manager or Operations Manager and involves leading staff, implementing production policies, and driving efficiency and safety across the plant.

Responsibilities include overseeing training, supervising multiple departments, and collaborating with engineering, sales and service management to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Two years of business management experience in a production environment.
• Strong supervisory and management skills.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to lead and develop staff.
• Good verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to count, compare sizes and types and work as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and implement changes to improve labor utilization and production efficiency.
• Lead, train, and supervise production staff and departments.
• Oversee new hire training and ongoing department training.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and service management to ensure smooth plant operation.
• Ensure production policies, procedures, standards, and safety are followed.
• Set and monitor department budgets, hiring, discipline and employee relations.
