Alsco Uniforms in Memphis, TN, is seeking a Production Manager to organize and supervise activities in the Production Department, reporting to the General Manager or Operations Manager. The role emphasizes improving labor utilization, production efficiency, and cost control.

You will lead, train, and evaluate production staff, collaborate with engineering, sales, and service teams, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards while managing department budgets and staffing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of business management experience in a production environment with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to lead a team.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop staff.
• Ability to recognize colors, sizes and types of product; accurate counting.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise work in the Production Department.
• Monitor and implement improvements to labor utilization and production efficiency.
• Lead, train, and supervise Production staff; oversee new hire training.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales and service management for smooth plant operation.
• Ensure adherence to production policies, standards, and safety.
• Set and monitor production, quality, housekeeping, and safety standards.
• Develop and manage department budgets; handle hiring and employee relations.
