Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Production Manager in the United States to organize and supervise the Production Department, ensuring efficient labor utilization and adherence to policies. The role involves leading staff, coordinating with engineering, sales and service teams, and enforcing safety, quality and cost controls.

The ideal candidate will oversee new hire training, manage department budgets, and drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of business management experience in a production environment.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to lead, motivate and develop staff.
• Ability to recognize colors, sizes and types of product and perform basic arithmetic.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise work in the Production Department.
• Monitor changes to improve labor utilization, production efficiency and costs.
• Lead, train and supervise production staff and departments.
• Oversee new hire training and ongoing staff development.
• Coordinate with engineering, sales and service management for smooth operations.
• Ensure production, quality, housekeeping and safety standards are met.
• Develop and adhere to department budgets and manage hiring and employee relations.
