Job summary

Parker Hannifin, a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies, is hiring a Lead Person to support Felt Line operations on the production floor. You will oversee daily activities to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery, while partnering with the Department Manager to meet production, cost, and customer satisfaction goals.

You will provide direction and leadership to cell team members, mentor staff in safety and continuous improvement, and work across shifts

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or packaging operations such as bagging, palletizing, or production line work.
• Proven ability to lead on the production floor by assigning work, coaching team members, and driving execution.
• Strong attention to detail for quality checks and documentation accuracy.
• Solid troubleshooting skills and clear, direct communication.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach others.
• Demonstrated reliability, strong attendance, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all cell activities to support production schedules, cost goals, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical, quality, and production leadership to cell team members.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts for manufacturing, assembly, and process improvements for assigned products and processes.
• Perform administrative duties to support the business, including completing labor sheets, verifying work order accuracy, updating Team Improvement Boards, and other related tasks.
• Work outside regular shift hours as needed to set up or support the production line.
• Mentor and motivate team members in safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Handle multiple activities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and focus.
• Communicate effectively and contribute to team projects.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, project, and team leadership skills.
• Work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
