Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of up to 50 employees, oversee maintenance and crib leadership, and drive lean manufacturing initiatives. The role involves evaluating facility and equipment systems, cost control, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include directing maintenance planning, coordinating with contractors, and mentoring staff to improve performance while maintaining production continuity at the Nebraska site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 5-7 years hand on maintenance including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC.
• Two years Supervisory experience with demonstrated effectiveness or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient computer skills with Word, Excel and database.
• Must have demonstrated leadership abilities to effectively work with people in a team environment.
• Must possess strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct work activity of Maintenance and Crib Leaders; motivate and empower subordinates.
• Review maintenance history to troubleshoot facility and equipment issues and maintain a proactive approach.
• Oversee planning, design, reconfiguration, construction, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, buildings and facilities; design layouts and suggest changes to systems.
• Review, analyze, and estimate design costs; direct contractor firms to coordinate movement and installations.
• Implement policies and training to comply with safety and environmental programs; ensure compliance with laws and company policy.
• Develop cost control programs; support lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Monitor department expenses and operate within budgets.
• Perform safety evaluations and participate in Safety Committee meetings; report issues.
• Administer and ensure compliance of company policies; counsel employees and apply corrective action.
