Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Value Stream Team Leader to run one or more plant value streams and implement Parker Lean systems. You will lead daily operations, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate across shifts to meet performance goals and safety standards.

You will develop standardized work, empower teams, and mentor associates while reducing waste, inventory, and lead times. This role requires collaboration with the Value Stream Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver quality

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
3-5 years' management or supervisory experience.
Experience with LEAN teams or leading LEAN teams is preferred.
Background in accounting, PC skills, manufacturing, human resource management and inventory control.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Basic knowledge of packaging techniques, shipping tools, and ability to use various weight scales.

Responsibilities

Leads the plant value stream(s) in daily operations and continuous improvements.
Meet with Value Stream Associates regularly to reflect on problems and solutions.
Ensure standardized work and processes are followed and safety/5S requirements are met.
Develop future state value stream map with the Value Stream Manager.
Provide cross training and empower teams to fix problems and improve quality.
Maintain visually controlled environments and Team Improvement Boards.
