Job summary

Star Bakery Inc is seeking a Production Lead for our cracker manufacturing facility. You will oversee the production process, manage a team of operators, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while driving efficiency.

You will develop daily schedules, monitor workflow, address bottlenecks, and coordinate with maintenance and QA to optimize processes. The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of food safety, and proficiency with production management software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in food science, manufacturing, or related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a production role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of production operators, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Production Management: Develop and maintain daily production schedules to meet demand while maximizing efficiency.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure cracker products meet established quality standards and specifications; implement quality control measures.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste; collaborate with engineering and QA teams.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Address production-related issues and bottlenecks; coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment operates smoothly.
• Safety Management: Enforce safety regulations and conduct safety training for team members.
• Reporting: Maintain records of production metrics and prepare reports for management.
