Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC is seeking Production Supervisors for a fast-paced bakery operation. This hands-on leadership role supervises a team of roughly 15–25 production employees across multiple shifts, with room for professional growth.

You will lead daily production activities, coach and develop staff, and ensure safety and quality standards while meeting production goals. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Production supervisory experience in food manufacturing; bakery or frozen food experience is especially relevant.
• Demonstrated ability to lead employees, manage performance, and build accountability.
• Working knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to work the assigned shift and support production scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
