Job summary

RTX is seeking a Production Electrical Team Lead for a Tucson-based production program. You will lead the Electrical Team, mentor engineers, coordinate with cross-functional groups, participate in design reviews, manage schedules, and drive continuous improvement in a matrixed environment.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or STEM and 5+ years of experience, RF/analog/digital/mixed-signal design, FPGA integration, and DoD Secret clearance. On-site 1st shift with travel <25%. Relocation benefits may be available.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years’ prior relevant experience.
• RF, analog, digital, and or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and or digital signal processing, debugging, failure investigations. Knowledge of FPGA integration and implementation preferred.
• Production engineering experience involving design, analysis, fabrication, or troubleshooting of missile hardware, including systematic problem solving, failure investigations or Root Cause and Corrective Action.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills creating and presenting technical content to cross-functional peers, leaders, suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Function as a Production Electrical Team Lead on a Production Program leading the Electrical Team while supporting cross functional teams in a matrixed organization.
• Provide technical support of 5-10 engineers, with a focus placed on engineering task execution, technical rigor, mentorship and training, etc.
• Coordinate with Electrical Team Lead for cross-functional prioritization.
• Direct involvement with and or support of design reviews, schedule risk, red rack burn down, supplier coordination, documentation, compliance, testing and validation, peer reviews and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration.
