Job summary

Archway-Marketing-Service in Indiana is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee the execution of all production floor activities and ensure timely fulfillment. You will plan production activities with Planning Manager and Account Management, set labor levels, review schedules, and supervise warehouse staff to maximize productivity, accuracy, and safety in daily operations.

Strong leadership, communication, and ability to train and develop employees are essential, along with adherence to OSHA

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3+ years warehouse supervision experience including receiving, shipping, inventory control.
• Experience with standard warehousing procedures and practices.
• Previous leadership experience including coaching and development of employees.
• Ability to determine priorities, make decisions, and organize merchandise for an organized operation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan production activities with Planning Manager and Account Management to meet deliverables.
• Determine appropriate production methods and labor levels to meet service deliverables.
• Review master production schedule and work orders and prioritize to maximize availability.
• Supervise fulfillment and production personnel for productivity, efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure lines are set-up and materials are in position for prompt start-up each shift.
• Communicate duties clearly at line start-up and supervise adherence to schedules.
• Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, direct and appraise performance.
• Support corporate quality standards and OSHA safety policies.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on safety and employee development.
