Job summary

Archway is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join its growing team in Illinois. The role reports to the Operations Manager and focuses on executing floor activities, maintaining workflow, and meeting client expectations through effective leadership on the production floor.

The ideal candidate has warehouse leadership experience, understands standard procedures, and can coach and develop staff while ensuring safety and quality standards are followed on every shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least three years of warehouse experience including receiving, shipping, fulfillment, and inventory control.
• Previous leadership experience preferred with coaching and development.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.
• Knowledge of standard warehousing procedures and policies.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, make decisions, and organize the workspace.

Responsibilities

• Determine appropriate labor levels to meet service deliverables.
• Supervise all operations personnel to maximize productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Plan daily activities with the operations manager and support teams.
• Ensure employees understand duties before each shift.
• Review production schedules and work orders to prioritize workforce.
• Set up operating lines at shift start for efficient labor use.
• Supervise shift employees to maintain safety and performance.
• Interview, hire, and train new employees on your shift.
• Support and maintain all quality standards and health policies.
• Provide a safe environment adhering to OSHA and company policies.
• All other duties as assigned.
