Job summary

Coining in Waterbury, CT is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations on the shop floor. You will oversee scheduling, labor allocation, quality, safety, and throughput to meet customer orders and quality standards.

Responsibilities include developing production schedules, managing work orders in the ERP, coordinating with QA and post-production teams, and driving continuous improvement through data-driven actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent manufacturing leadership experience considered.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing operations leadership, preferably in metal stamping or high-volume environments.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP, production scheduling, labor reporting, and shop floor metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day production operations on the shop floor.
• Develop and coordinate daily/weekly production schedules across departments.
• Manage work orders, labor allocation, and throughput to meet delivery commitments.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
