Job summary

BD is seeking a production supervisor to lead line operations on the USA CT - Canaan site. You will oversee staffing, training, safety, quality, and daily performance on the production floor, ensuring adherence to Run to Excellence and 5S standards.

You will partner with HR and quality to resolve issues, conduct daily batch reviews, and drive continuous improvement. This role spends most time on the production floor and requires strong communication and servant leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Address safety issues or incidents promptly.
• Manage and track attendance, vacation, PTO, etc.
• Staffing and training plans within line(s) for assigned shift.
• Daily touchpoints with line associates to support Run to Excellence.
• Lead root cause investigations and containment on issues.
• Spend 100% of time on the production floor unless meetings are required.
• Prepare and run Tier 1 production meetings with the LCO team.
• Coordinate headcount and sampling on lines as needed.
