Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) is seeking a Maintenance Facility Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance of production equipment and coordinate with mechanics to troubleshoot issues, ensuring safe and reliable operation of all machinery.

You will lead a maintenance team, plan preventative maintenance, keep SQF records, and collaborate with other departments to maintain schedules and changes.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and good troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of related computer applications.
• Excellent understanding of facility management procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct mechanics on all shifts, priorities and changeovers.
• Train and assist other mechanics on techniques, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Perform preventative maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors, and production machines.
• Maintain SQF records and logs; coordinate with other departments to keep schedules.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to address operator issues.
