Job summary

UNFI is seeking a Maintenance Facility Supervisor to lead daily upkeep and repair of all production equipment. You will coordinate with mechanics to monitor, troubleshoot, and respond to operator issues while ensuring safe, functioning machines.

You will supervise shifts, guide changeovers, perform preventative maintenance per diagrams and manuals, and collaborate with other departments to keep schedules and procedures up to date. Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance warehouse experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of facility management procedures.
• Ability to supervise direct team activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities across shifts.
• Direct mechanics on priorities, changeovers, and repairs.
• Train others on changeover techniques and troubleshooting.
• Observe operations to locate problems with equipment.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on engines, motors and conveyors.
• Maintain SQF records, logs, and PIT files.
• Collaborate with other departments to update procedures.
