Job summary

Solve Industrial Motion Group is seeking aProduction Engineer to develop and improve manufacturing processes, using Lean methods and cross‑functional collaboration across design, quality, and operations. The role focuses on efficiency, quality, safety, and cost reduction in a busy production environment.

The ideal candidate will apply problem‑solving, data analysis and SME expertise in automation selection, fixture design and process documentation to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial or manufacturing engineering.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Lean Transformational strategies including 6S, model cell development, and pull systems.
• Design and refine production workspaces and processes for efficient operations.
• Create and optimize tooling, fixtures, and work instructions.
• Analyze methods, processes and equipment to improve productivity and quality.
• Conduct time studies and capacity planning to balance workloads.
• Train operators and technicians on best practices for safety and quality.
• Assist with quoting projects and provide technical support to customers and sales team.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality and reliability.
