Job summary
Hire Road, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to improve manufacturing processes, equipment reliability, safety, quality, productivity, and cost across the facility.
The role leads continuous improvement initiatives and partners with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Safety to elevate overall plant performance. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with manufacturing processes and systems, and will drive Lean and Six Sigma-based improvements, cost reduction, and equipment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related technical field; manufacturing experience welcomed.
- 3–7+ years in manufacturing engineering or related field.
- Strong problem-solving and structured root cause analysis skills.
- Experience with 5S, Kaizen, 8D/5 Why, FMEA and Value Stream Mapping preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
- Manage manufacturing and capital projects from concept through installation and validation.
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Safety to improve plant performance.
- Develop standard work, process documentation and manufacturing procedures.
- Identify opportunities for automation and equipment upgrades.
