Job summary

Solve Industrial Motion Group is seeking a Production Engineer in Indiana to develop and improve manufacturing processes using Lean methods for productivity, quality and cost efficiency.

You will work with design, quality, supply chain and operations to analyze data, perform time studies, create SOPs and support automation decisions, driving continuous improvement and process excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of industrial/manufacturing engineering experience with discrete parts.
• Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and ERP/MRP systems.
• Familiarity with ISO/IATF quality standards and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean transformation projects (6S, model cell, pull systems).
• Design and optimize production spaces, processes, fixtures and work instructions.
• Analyze methods, processes and equipment for cost/quality improvements.
• Perform time studies and capacity planning; create SOPs and docs.
• Train operators and maintain safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers and sales on technical requirements.
• Support quotes on special projects and advise on automation choices.
