Job summary

Fidelity Manufacturing seeks a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvements. You will collaborate with design, production, quality, and maintenance teams to develop efficient solutions that meet ISO 9001 standards and implement Lean practices.

The role focuses on reducing waste, improving product quality, and leading cross‑functional projects in a fast‑paced industrial environment, offering the chance to apply advanced engineering

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related) and advanced certifications in Six Sigma or Lean preferred.
  • Experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering in high-volume production.
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM/robotics programming and automated inspection.
  • Strong project scheduling, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems and manufacturing best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process engineering to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
  • Create/update CAD models and schematics for equipment and tooling.
  • Program and troubleshoot automation systems including robotics, CNCs, vision systems, and PLCs.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Design and optimize assembly line processes and tooling; support NPI.
  • Coordinate with design, production, quality, and maintenance for timely projects.
  • Conduct data analysis to support quality programs and process validation.
  • Lead projects involving equipment upgrades and lean improvements.
  • Provide GD&T guidance and engineering support to manufacturing teams.
  • Train manufacturing staff on new processes and equipment.
