  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Foundational knowledge of APQP, Lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles.
  • Proficiency in CAD modeling and technical drafting.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production documentation.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain essential production documentation, including process flows, control plans, and PFMEAs.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process waste and leading Lean initiatives such as Kaizen events and value stream mapping.
  • Design and implement custom tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions to boost production efficiency and safety.
  • Perform root-cause analysis to resolve quality issues and optimize equipment performance.
  • Support new product introductions by verifying manufacturability and ensuring process readiness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage engineering changes and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct statistical data collection and capability studies to inform data-driven process enhancements.
  • Assist in the specification, installation, and validation of new manufacturing equipment.
