Job summary

Solve Industrial Motion Group seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the manufacturing engineering functions across the facility. You will drive process improvement, equipment reliability and capital projects in a cross‑functional environment with Production, Quality and Supply Chain.

You will mentor a team, optimize OEE, MTBF and MTTR, and lead lean initiatives to improve productivity, quality and safety while aligning with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial or manufacturing engineering.
• 7+ years in manufacturing/industrial engineering, maintenance or operations environments.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams within a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
• Experience using Lean, Six Sigma, root‑cause analysis and 8D problem solving.
• Working knowledge of CMMS, KPIs and data‑driven decision‑making practices.
• Experience managing multi‑shift work schedules and optimizing labor across shifts.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation, equipment reliability and maintenance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, procedures and workflows to improve productivity, quality, safety and efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs including OEE, throughput, maintenance costs, MTBF and MTTR.
• Lead, develop and mentor manufacturing engineering team members.
• Lead capital improvement projects including equipment selection and facility improvements.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and root‑cause analysis to eliminate waste and improve performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve operational challenges and support new product introductions.
• Develop and manage budgets, resource planning and vendor relationships for engineering and maintenance activities.
