Job summary

The Queen in Wilmington, DE seeks an experienced Production Manager to oversee all technical and logistical aspects of production for live events. You’ll coordinate artist riders, staff the production crew, manage load-ins and show settlements, and ensure safety and equipment integrity.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in production management, strong leadership, and a deep knowledge of audio, lighting, and video systems, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced show environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years minimum experience in Production Management.
• Experience with national touring acts or large market venues.
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills.
• Ability to work in fast paced, constantly changing show situations.
• Computer and tech savvy; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong knowledge of professional audio equipment, lighting, video, and staging systems.
• Experience staffing, scheduling, and supervising production crews.
• Experience advancing shows and coordinating with artists, tour managers, agents.

Responsibilities

• Advance sound, lighting, staging and other performer needs for all shows with artist representatives.
• Staff and manage production crew across events and contracts.
• Coordinate artist tech rider needs within contract and venue policy.
• Supervise stage crew during events.
• Manage multi-show builds and load-in/load-out schedules.
• Setup and mix audio when needed and manage equipment.
• Oversee production department staffing, scheduling, and maintenance.
• Arrange settlements for performances with artists or managers.
• Review and enforce safety and fire code procedures.
