Job summary

Avangrid is seeking an Associate Analyst - Production Control in Orange, CT or Boston, MA for an on-site role. You’ll support reliable batch execution across environments using Control-M, UC4, and Autosys, monitor jobs, and resolve routine failures.

You will work with senior team members to ensure adherence to SLAs, improve automation, and maintain production schedules. A strong foundation in batch operations and ITSM processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field with 1+ year in IT operations or production support.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with documentation ability.
• Experience with enterprise job scheduling tools and basic automation scripting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and execute batch jobs using enterprise scheduling tools (Control-M, UC4, Autosys).
• Ensure timely completion of daily and nightly batch processing under SLAs.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve routine job failures using documented procedures.
• Support consistency of batch schedules across development, testing, and production environments.
• Assist with basic scripting and job automation tasks and production performance improvements.
• Develop Production Support standards and procedures.
• Support application teams with job scheduling requests and production issues.
• Work independently on projects related to Production Support.
• Provide technical assistance to applications and operations teams.
• Participate in incident, change, and problem management per ITSM.
• Assist in operational reporting and dashboards for batch health.
• Support audit readiness and compliance documentation.
