AVANGRID SERVICE COMPANY in Connecticut is seeking an Associate Analyst - Production Control to monitor batch jobs and ensure critical workflows run reliably. The role uses Control-M, UC4 (Automic), and Autosys, with on-site duties and collaboration with IT teams.

Entry-level to mid-level production support experience is welcomed. As part of the IT Production Control group, you will contribute to operational efficiency, improve batch health, and assist in incident management and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 1+ year experience in IT operations.
• Experience with enterprise job scheduling tools and basic IT operations.
• Knowledge of Unix/AIX/Wintel operating systems; scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and execute batch jobs using enterprise scheduling tools (Control-M, UC4, Autosys).
• Ensure timely completion of daily and nightly batch processing under defined SLAs.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve routine job failures using documented procedures; elevate complex issues as needed.
• Support consistency of batch schedules across development, testing, and production environments.
• Assist with basic scripting and job automation tasks and assist with enhancing system performance.
• Assists in developing Production Support standards and procedures.
• Supports application teams with job scheduling requests and production issues.
• Works independently on assigned projects specialized for Production Support.
