Avangrid seeks a Senior Analyst – Production Control to oversee batch processes across multiple environments using Control‑M, UC4, and Autosys. The role emphasizes monitoring, failure resolution, automation support, and collaboration with IT and operations to ensure operational excellence.

The position requires strong scripting capabilities and familiarity with reporting/monitoring tools to deliver actionable insights, with on-site work in CT/MA and occasional off-hours support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field; 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with Autosys, CA Automic (UC4), Control‑M, or Stonebranch.
• Unix/AIX/Wintel systems experience; scripting for automation (Shell, Python, PowerShell, Ansible).
• Familiarity with SAP and job scheduling tools (Control‑M, UC4, Autosys).
• Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM processes.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, execute, and monitor batch jobs using Control‑M, UC4, and Autosys.
• Ensure nightly completion of critical batch jobs and meet performance metrics.
• Maintain consistency across development, testing and production environments.
• Generate status and performance reports; develop workflows to meet business needs.
• Perform SAP transports and automate tasks with scripting; support reporting tools.
• Provide advanced technical assistance to application and operations teams.
• Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.
• Train users and support scheduling tool functionalities.
• Maintain compliance documentation and support audits.
• Develop automation scripts using Shell, PowerShell, and Ansible.
