Job summary

Sheridan is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate – Finishing/Bindery in Brainerd, MN. No prior bindery experience required—we will train you to run high-speed equipment on the 2nd shift (2:30PM - 11PM).

Pick and pack books, move materials, and assist with quality checks in a hands-on production environment. You’ll join a team focused on meeting daily production goals while following safety procedures in a busy factory setting.

Manufacturing Associate – Finishing/Bindery (We’ll Train You!)

2nd shift 2:30PM - 11PM

What You’ll Do

• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Physical & Work Environment

• Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.
• Walking: Must be able to walk with ease, as some operations require constant walking.
• Standing: Must be able to stand (almost all jobs operations require long hours) on a concrete floor, or wooden platform.
• Lifting: Must be able to lift various materials weighing up to 50 pounds continuously.
• Twisting: Must be able to twist/rotate at the waist, up to 90 degrees, when loading or packing.
