Sheridan in Minnesota is seeking a Manufacturing Operating Technician - Bindery. We'll train you to run high-speed bindery equipment, producing books, catalogs, and printed materials. Qualifications

Experience operating machinery in any industry preferred.
Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
Able to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.).
High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Set up, run, and maintain all sections of the machine.
Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machine and equipment.
Interpret work instructions and record production data accurately.
Show initiative and seek productivity improvements.

We’re hiring 3 team members ready to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in print manufacturing.

What You’ll Do

Learn to set up, run, and maintain all sections of the Machine.
Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machine and auxiliary equipment.
Learn to interpret the information on work instructions and accurately record production data.
Exercise initiative, ask questions and look for ways of improving productivity.

What We’re Looking For

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you.

We’re Looking For People Who

Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
Take pride in doing quality work
Show up reliably and work well with a team
High school diploma/GED.

It’s a Plus If You Have

Print, bindery, or finishing experience
Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

On your feet for most of the shift.
Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor.
Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
