Job summary

Sheridan is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for the Bindery on 1st shift. Training will be provided to operate high-speed bindery equipment and produce quality books and printed materials. The role involves lifting, moving, and teamwork to meet daily production goals in a fast-paced shop.

We value reliability, basic math, and the ability to read instructions. Prior manufacturing or finishing experience is a plus, but not required.

• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

What You’ll Do

• Feed books/signatures into machine
• Pack books into cartons
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation

What We’re Looking For

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you.
We’re looking for people who:

• High school Diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, workplace, and safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic math skills, add subtract, and ability to use a measuring device
• Basic problem‑solving skills
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team

It’s a plus if you have:

• One year of previous manufacturing or related experience
• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift
• Fast‑paced, team‑oriented production floor
• Lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
