Job summary

Wis-Pak, Inc. in Quincy, IL is hiring a Production Operator for the night shift (10:00pm-6:30am, Mon-Fri). You will support packaging lines, ensure product quality and safety, and maintain a clean, organized work area while documenting changes and procedures.

You will operate safely, follow established policies, and complete required documentation. The role requires forklift skills, English proficiency, and reliability for overtime during peak production.

Qualifications

• Forklift driving required or ability to pass forklift license test.
• Strong reading, writing and speaking English.
• Team-oriented with ability to work independently.
• Detail-oriented with focus on safety and quality.
• Willingness to work overtime during peak production periods.
• Physically able to stand/walk long periods and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, health, quality, GMP, and company procedures.
• Properly operate safety switches, interlocks, and safety devices.
• Maintain clean, organized work area meeting safety standards.
• Check product and case codes for accuracy.
• Perform package changeovers accurately and efficiently.
• Complete and file quality and packaging documentation on time.

About The Role

As a Production Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You'll be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, performing accurate product changeovers, and completing essential documentation--all while supporting the smooth operation of our packaging lines.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Following all safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
• Understanding and properly operating safety switches, interlocks, and safety devices.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area to meet safety and housekeeping standards.
• Checking product and case codes frequently for accuracy and legibility.
• Performing package changeovers accurately and efficiently.
• Completing and filing all required quality and packaging documentation in a timely and orderly manner.
