SKIMS in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Leader – Product to partner with the Store Leader in delivering elevated merchandising and captivating customer experiences on the sales floor. You will own visual merchandising, product flow, and floor moves, coaching teams, and ensuring brand standards.

This full-time role requires 2–4 years in retail leadership, a strong eye for presentation, and the ability to move quickly with trends.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in a retail leadership role focused on visual merchandising or customer experience.
• Proven track record driving sales through merchandising decisions.
• Strong visual merchandising skills to create impactful displays.
• Ability to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills to achieve results.
• Strong communicator with ability to give feedback and handle challenges.
• Passion for the SKIMS brand and service approach.
• Must be able to stand, move around the store, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Full time availability: evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime.
• Does not want to be an influencer.

Responsibilities

• Own the visual merchandising strategy and execution and ensure displays align with brand goals.
• Lead the floor layout, product storytelling, and shopper experience with a customer obsessed mindset.
• Use store reporting to drive results and optimize product flow and placement.
• Maintain zoned floor areas, monitor size integrity, and support back of house alignment.
• React quickly to trends and empower the team to re-merchandise as needed.
• Uphold Operational Excellence by keeping the floor clean, organized, and well signed.
• Lead product moves, visual updates, and floor sets including mannequins and signage.
• Train team members on visual best practices, styling, product knowledge, and launches.
• Be the product expert in-store and coach others on fit, function, and fabric.
• Connect product features with customer needs in selling conversations.
• Provide visual feedback to enhance learning and product placement skills.
• Collaborate with HQ VM and allocation partners on assortment and tools.
• Oversee display inventory and ensure readiness for daily execution.
• Maintain strong floor presence during peak business hours and drive service quality.
• Align with KPIs, conversion, and guest satisfaction to meet store goals.
• Synchronize with leadership on launches, capsule drops, and marketing rollouts.
