Job summary

Visa in San Francisco is seeking a product‑minded risk leader to support a portfolio including stablecoin and crypto initiatives, AI-enabled commerce, Visa Pay and other emerging payment capabilities. You will partner with product teams from concept through launch, identifying material risks and guiding timely decisions.

This hybrid role requires strong judgment, collaboration across Finance, Legal, Compliance and Technology, and the ability to translate complex questions into clear actions for

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree or 2 years with a PhD.
• Experience evaluating complex risks and translating findings into clear recommendations.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across functions.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships across Product, Technology, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, Data and AI Governance.
• Lead product risk reviews for new products, pilots, feature changes, partnerships and launches.
• Document material risks, mitigations, accountable owners, decision points and post‑launch monitoring expectations.
• Evaluate emerging payments, digital assets, AI or other technologies and connect risk insights to business outcomes.
