Job summary

Visa’s Digital Assets Compliance Manager is a senior compliance leader who sits in 2LoD, advising MLRO and cross-functional teams on cryptocurrency, stablecoins and blockchain-based products from concept to rollout and scaling. The role blends regulatory risk management with product governance and ongoing lifecycle oversight.

Qualifications

• Relevant graduate degree or equivalent professional experience in Law, Finance, Economics, Risk, Compliance, Technology or a related discipline.
• Professional financial crime or compliance qualification preferred, such as ICA, ACAMS or equivalent.
• Recognised cryptocurrency or digital asset compliance qualification desirable.
• Evidence of continued professional development in digital assets, financial crime, payments and regulatory change.

Responsibilities

• Act as VPL Compliance’s principal 2LoD adviser on cryptocurrency, stablecoin and blockchain-based products, providing clear, practical and authoritative advice to MLRO and senior teams from concept through launch and lifecycle.
• Lead the compliance assessment of new digital asset products and translate complex requirements into proportionate control requirements and risk appetite.
• Build relationships across the business, control functions and external partners, maintaining independent 2LoD challenge while enabling responsible innovation.
