Job summary

Canfield Imaging Systems in Parsippany, NJ seeks a Product Reliability Specialist to bridge customers and the engineering team, analyzing defective products to prevent recurrence. You will manage returns, document findings, and coordinate action plans with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in a technical discipline, strong MS Office skills, and knowledge of quality systems; experience with trend analysis and engineering changes is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to document technical information.
• Understanding of quality systems and analytical problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage, assign, and track returned merchandise authorizations for investigation or repair.
• Collect, analyze, and document findings from investigations.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders for review and prioritization.
• Prescribe action plans based on communication from stakeholders and project management completion of action plans.
• Assist in creating engineering change orders.
• Provide documentation for corrective and preventive action initiation.
• Perform trend analysis of failures for monthly KPIs to ensure target failure rate.
• Compile and analyze failures for bi-annual management reviews.
• Document defects and results within the defect tracker database.
• Liaise with vendors and communicate technical information to customers professionally.
