Job summary

MIDCONTINENT INDEPENDENT SYSTEM OPERATOR INC is seeking a Manager of Process and Product Operations to build and lead the Product Operations function, enabling Product Management to deliver value consistently, efficiently, and at scale. You’ll establish the Product Operating System and governance to improve portfolio visibility and execution readiness across the product portfolio.

You’ll partner with Product Leadership, define metrics, build dashboards, monitor performance, and drive workflow

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field or equivalent.
• 6+ years in Product Operations or related disciplines.
• Proven ability to map and optimize end-to-end processes.
• Experience building metrics, dashboards and governance structures.
• Strong analytical skills translating data into actions for diverse stakeholders.
• Solid grasp of Agile and product-delivery with portfolio governance.
• Hands-on workflow automation using Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps/Power BI/ServiceNow/Productboard/Aha!.
• Experience influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority; Lean/Six Sigma a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and evolve Product Operations governance and standards.
• Partner with Product Leadership on intake, prioritization, and portfolio planning.
• Define success metrics covering governance, planning quality, and visibility.
• Build dashboards, scorecards, and reports for real-time portfolio insights.
• Monitor product-team performance and identify bottlenecks and gaps.
• Analyze trends to drive operational improvements and leadership decisions.
• Map end-to-end processes to reduce handoffs and increase efficiency.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities with enterprise tools.
