Job summary

Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) is seeking a Manager of Process and Product Operations to build and lead the Product Operations function. You will establish and evolve the Product Operating System, set governance standards, and provide actionable insights to improve transparency, prioritization, planning, and execution across the product portfolio.

The role focuses on optimizing the environment in which product teams operate, identifying opportunities to improve operating system

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Operations, or a related field.
Experience in Product Operations, operations, or process improvement.
Ability to define operational metrics and support governance.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
Experience with portfolio management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Establish and continuously evolve Product Operations framework, governance, and rhythms for consistent product delivery.
Partner with Product Leadership to refine intake, prioritization, planning, and portfolio management across the lifecycle.
Define and maintain success measures for operational effectiveness and governance maturity.
Build dashboards, scorecards, and reporting for real-time portfolio visibility and risk identification.
Monitor performance to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
Analyze trends to generate insights that enhance decision-making and execution readiness.
Map end-to-end processes to identify handoffs and inefficiencies.
Lead Lean and process-improvement initiatives with data-driven measurement.
Identify and implement workflow automation opportunities with enterprise platforms.
