Job summary

Sourcebooks seeks a Product Manager, Awareness Platform to own our mobile and web experiences from discovery through delivery and ongoing optimization. You will lead a balanced blend of hands-on product ownership, customer advocacy, and roadmap governance while partnering with development and cross-functional teams.

The role requires hands-on testing across mobile and web, with occasional time-sensitive releases. Hybrid/remote work in multiple U.S.

Qualifications

5+ years in product management with ownership of mobile/web platforms.
Experience partnering with software development teams to define, test, and release product improvements.
Strong customer and UX orientation with analytical judgment.
Technical fluency across mobile/web lifecycles, integrations, subscriptions, and release processes.
Excellent project management, QA, vendor management, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

Own the user experience, platform roadmap, backlog, and priorities across web and mobile.
Translate customer feedback, reviews, behavior, and analytics into improvements.
Partner with development from discovery through release; write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Improve onboarding, navigation, content discovery, subscriptions, engagement, retention, and UX/UI.
Own product QA, release readiness, push and messaging functionality, and post-launch optimization.
Manage external development partners, vendors, SOWs/RFPs, and growth initiatives.
