Job summary

Sourcebooks is seeking a Product Manager, Awareness Platform to own our mobile and web platform experiences from discovery through delivery and ongoing optimization. The role blends hands-on ownership, customer advocacy, UX improvements, and analytics in a hybrid/remote setting across multiple U.S. states.

You will partner with development teams, translate customer feedback into improvements, and drive onboarding and engagement strategies while ensuring high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management with hands-on ownership of mobile/web experiences.
• Experience defining, prioritizing, testing, and releasing product improvements with software teams.
• Strong customer and UX orientation; analytical judgment and prioritization.
• Technical fluency across mobile/web lifecycles, integrations, subscriptions, and releases.
• Excellent project management, QA, vendor management, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the user experience, platform roadmap, backlog, and priorities across web and mobile.
• Translate customer feedback, behavior, and analytics into improvements.
• Write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria with development teams.
• Improve onboarding, navigation, content discovery, subscriptions, engagement, retention, and UX/UI.
• Own QA, release readiness, push and messaging functionality, and post-launch optimization.
• Manage external development partners, vendors, SOWs/RFPs, and growth initiatives.
• Bring reader motivations to product decisions to help customers discover content.
