Sourcebooks seeks a Product Manager, Awareness Platform to own our mobile and web platform experiences from discovery through delivery and ongoing optimization. The role blends hands-on ownership, customer advocacy, analytics, QA, and cross-functional partnership across web and mobile initiatives.

The position requires regular hands-on use and testing of experiences, with hybrid or remote work options in the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management with digital/mobile/web ownership.
• Strong ability to translate customer feedback into product improvements.
• Experience writing clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Analytical mindset with strong UX orientation and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Own the user experience, platform roadmap, backlog, and priorities across web and mobile instances.
• Become a true power user and translate customer feedback, reviews, behavior, and analytics into improvements.
• Partner with development from discovery through release; write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Improve onboarding, navigation, content discovery, subscriptions, engagement, retention, and UX/UI.
• Own product QA, release readiness, push and messaging functionality, and post‑launch optimization.
• Manage external development partners, vendors, SOWs/RFPs, and defined growth initiatives.
• Bring reader motivations and discovery habits to product decisions, helping customers find content and connections that keep them coming back.
