Job summary

Ford in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Product Manager for Salesforce Platform & Engineering to define the multi-year roadmap for our Global CRM ecosystem. You will align business goals with technical execution, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing platforms.

You will lead agile ceremonies, drive DevOps excellence with tools like Copado and GitHub Copilot, and mentor a team of PMs and TPMs to deliver 0-to-1 solutions from inception to launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• 7+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 2+ years specifically focused on the Salesforce/CRM ecosystem.
• Deep understanding CRM/Salesforce architecture (Multi-tenancy, Mulesoft APIs/Integrations, RestfulAPI, Cloud Computing, batch data ingestion, etc.).
• 2+ years of experience managing a platform "as a product," focusing on scalability and customer satisfaction.
• 2+ years of working in Agile/Scrum methodologies with tools like JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Platform Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute a multi-year roadmap for the Salesforce platform.
• Platform Health: Prioritize technical debt, refactoring, and architectural upgrades.
• Technical acumen: Evaluate architectures balancing value and health for informed decisions.
• ROI & Value: Track platform KPIs like deployment frequency and uptime.
• Engineering & DevOps Excellence: Own DevEx tools and CI/CD processes like Copado and GitHub Copilot.
• Governance: Enforce guardrails, coding standards, security, monitoring and data compliance.
• Stakeholder & Team Leadership: Collaborate with PMs, enterprise architects, legal, data engineers.
• Backlog Management: Translate complex needs into well-defined user stories.
• Mentorship: Guide junior PMs, TPMs on Salesforce practices.
• Technical Product Discovery: Evaluate third-party integrations and Salesforce features.
