Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BBA or business analytics or related program.
• Regular use of AI tools and comfort learning new software quickly.
• Strong spreadsheet skills and an analytical approach to messy information.
• Experience with software programming (Python, SQL) and data visualization tools (Excel, BI).
• Clear, concise writing.
• Availability of 15 to 20 hours per week with overlap during US Central business hours.
• Ability to complete HIPAA training and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

A product engineer defines what to build, shows it working, and measures whether it made a difference. You will spend time with the people who use our platform, turn what you learn into runnable prototypes and build-ready user stories, and track adoption once features ship. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy business student with real interest in making a career in AI-native and AI-powered businesses and who wants to learn how great products get built.

What You'll Do

• Spend time with providers, clinical leaders and operations teams to understand workflows and pain points
• Turn problems into runnable prototypes using AI tools such as Claude and Replit, while learning to and creating the right scope of documents.
• Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria and the data fields they depend on, ready one week before build
• Write user acceptance test scripts and test releases before they reach providers
• Track adoption and outcomes after launch and bring back what is working and what is not

How We Work

• AI-native by default. We plan, build, test, review and submit with AI tools in the loop, and we expect you to reach for them without being asked.
• Weekly operating cadence. We plan on Monday, build continuously through the week, and release when the work is ready and tested.
• Forward-deployed. The people who build a tool also own its adoption. We sit with providers and operations teams, feel the manual pain first, then automate it.
• Plan, do, check, act. We write down what we intend, build it, measure whether it worked, and adjust.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience
