Job summary

Thrive Therapies Group is seeking a part-time Full-Stack Engineer Intern to join our product and technology team. You will build real features and internal tools, grow automated test coverage, and learn how a production healthcare platform is designed, secured and shipped.

You will work day to day with our Full-Stack Engineer and report to our CTO. Our stack is Python/FastAPI, React/TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
At least one project with a web front end and a database, shared through GitHub or a portfolio.
Regular use of AI coding tools.
Availability of 15 to 20 hours per week with overlap during US Central business hours.
Ability to complete HIPAA training and pass a background check.
Exposure to AWS or another cloud platform.

Responsibilities

Build scoped features and internal tools in Python (FastAPI) and React with TypeScript.
Work in an AI-assisted workflow from plan to build, test, review and submit.
Ship low-risk changes through feature branches and pull request review.
Demo your work weekly and take feedback from engineers and users.
Shadow providers and operations teams to understand the workflows you are building for.
