Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Product Design Electrical Engineer to join the EPS team. You will lead design, development and qualification of essential electrical power distribution equipment for AWS data centers, including switchgear, transformers, busduct and cabinets.

You will work with global partners, drive DFx and value engineering, and ensure compliance with UL/IEC standards while supporting multiple geographies and international projects.

Qualifications

• Professional engineers with cross-functional collaboration experience in data-center environments.
• Ability to translate customer needs into robust electrical designs.
• Experience evaluating new designs and construction methods for critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and qualification of critical electrical power distribution equipment for AWS data centers.
• Develop Capex/Opex budgets for development, prototyping, testing and tooling.
• Coordinate with global suppliers to ensure supply chain resiliency and compliance with codes.
